Jordan Raper
General Manager
Jordan Raper is a seasoned soccer player and coach with a long history in the sport. Beginning with youth programs at Doncaster, Leeds, and Sheffield United, Jordan honed his skills and passion for the game. This journey led him to Leeds Carnegie, where he played competitively for four years while pursuing a degree in secondary education with a focus on History and Physical Education. Jordan taught History and Economics as well as Physical Education for four years in England.
In 1999, Jordan made the transatlantic move to New Jersey, where he began his career in teaching and coaching in America. Initially, he taught Physical Education at Montclair Cooperative School while simultaneously coaching travel teams in Livingston, South Orange, and Montclair. Jordan founded a highly successful summer select program at Soccer Domain, demonstrating his knack for developing talent and fostering a love for the game.
Transitioning into a leadership role, Jordan assumed the Director of Staff Development position at Soccer Domain, furthering his impact on the soccer community. During a brief hiatus to focus on family, Jordan seized the opportunity to pursue higher education, completing a Master's Program in Sports Science, Coaching, and Administration at Montclair State University.
In 2012, Jordan embarked on a new chapter as the Department Chair at Montclair Kimberley Academy, where he has dedicated the past 12 years to shaping young minds and fostering a culture of excellence in sports and academics alike. Simultaneously, Jordan has left an indelible mark on club soccer as the ECNL Director at Match Fit Academy since 2012.
Jordan has established himself as a well-respected coach in the soccer community with an impressive coaching record, including eight State Titles, three Regional Titles, and two National League Titles. His success also extends to high school soccer, where he led MKA boys' soccer to two prep titles, three sectional titles, and two state titles from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, Jordan guided MKA Girls soccer from 2019 to 2023, consistently reaching the prep and sectional finals each year.
Through his unwavering dedication and expertise, Jordan Raper continues to shape the future of soccer both on and off the field.
