MatchFit Academy, the premier boys and girls youth soccer academy in New Jersey, is thrilled to announce the addition of Ronald Ventura as its Zone I Director of the Mercer Region.
Ventura brings a wealth of experience both as a player and a coach. He has participated in the U.S. U-15 National Team Camp, trained with the first team at D.C. United Academy, played for the U-20 El Salvador National Team, and competed for USL 2 side Real Central NJ.
In his coaching career, Ventura has made a significant impact at top youth programs across the northeast, including Alexandria Soccer Association, Philadelphia Union, NY Red Bulls, and as a Head Coach at PSA Princeton. His dedication to developing young talent aligns perfectly with MatchFit Academy’s mission for growth on and off the pitch.
“Ronald comes to us as a great fit for Zone I Director after successful stints at Red Bull and PSA,” MatchFit Academy Boys Director of Coaching Brian Woods said. “Ronald has been very successful in building and developing both players and teams at the younger age groups and we are excited that he has chosen to join the Match Fit/Surf family!”
Ventura holds multiple coaching licenses, including the Grassroots 7v7, 9v9, 11v11, the US Soccer D License, and is currently pursuing his US Soccer C License.
“MatchFit Academy is a very prestigious program and I am excited to work with our young players and staff to create a positive, supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun while developing the skills they need to reach their full potential,” Ventura said of his new role.
We are excited to have Ronald’s expertise and leadership as part of our team and look forward to the positive influence he will have on our players and the Mercer program.
Welcome to the #matchfitfamily, Ronald!
