General Information:
The Match Fit Chelsea Football Club is proud to announce its 1st College Bound Showcase tournament hosted by TRSA and presented by adidas for U16 thru U18/19 Boys and Girls. It will be held at the Bea Lea Soccer Complex in Toms River, New Jersey. We will also be accepting U14 thru U15 Boys and Girls so they too can experience the Showcase atmosphere as well.
Our Tournament is Open to US Youth Soccer & US Club Soccer Teams.
Eligibility:
Our Tournament will focus on the U-16 thru U18/19 teams with players who wish to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level. A select number of teams will be invited to attend along with teams submitting general applications. Acceptance will be based on team composition by level of play, age, and rankings. Other factors may also be included at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.
All players must be carded with a US Soccer Member Organization and to encourage high school seniors to attend, we will be flexable with our player guest policy.
Divisions of Play:
College Showcase Format (no standings kept): U16 through U19 (Boys and Girls)
Tournament Format: U14 through U15 (Boys and Girls)
College Showcase Format: (U16 through U19)
Ø The College Showcase will have a set number of teams to ensure maximum exposure.
Ø Early notification and scheduling.
Ø All games are played at a single site.
Ø Three 80 minute games
Ø 5 guest players allowed.
Ø Three referee system.
Ø Keepers’ Showcase
Ø No standings, Showcase format to allow the coaches to evaluate each player.
Ø Every college coach will receive a College Book of player profiles.
Tournament Format: (U14 through U16)
U14's -U15's will play 70 minute games and standings will be kept.
Games will be scheduled Friday, Saturday & Sunday (but not necessarily all 3 days)

Under no circumstances whatsoever will the Tournament Committee or Match Fit Chelsea FC be responsible or any expenses incurred by any team. This includes a situation where the Tournament or any game(s) is canceled/terminated in whole or part due to weather, park or field closures. However, if the tournament is cancelled for any reason before the start of the tournament, MFAFC will refund a minimum of 80% of the teams entry fees.
Location:
The tournament will be played at the Bey Lea Soccer Complex, Toms River, NJ. This is the Host site of the Toms River Soccer Association (TRSA).
Housing:
Teams participating in the MF/Chelsea Tournament and requiring hotel accommodations MUST (as a condition of acceptance) make all hotel reservations using our tournament housing service.
