U11 - Pre Academy ’99’             and ’00’	Thursday May 20th - 6 - 730pm - Location: Raritain High School, Hazlet, NJ Please note that at Match Fit Chelsea all teams will follow our developmental model.  The inception of the 8v8 Pre Academy at U12 is a positive step in the direction of youth soccer in the North East area. It is Match Fit Chelsea’s philosophy to have players play one year of 11v11 before going back to 8v8 at U12 would be detrimental to the players development.  Therefore Match Fit Chelsea will select two 8v8 U11 teams by birth year.  These teams will play in top 8v8 tournaments, scrimmages against other Pre Academy teams and other leading clubs in comparison to state cup etc. This will prepare our players for the U12 Pre Academy. The focus at U11 will be on development through training and non competitive game play as proposed by the USSF DA*
